On March 1st my vacuum belt broke on a new Airspeed vacuum form Eureka. Great vacuum, really like it. No belts at store where I bought it nor at specialty vacuum stores. One store who services Eureka had never heard of an "S" belt.

Placed order on-line, item showed in stock. Got e-mail that part was not available, on back order. Called service center and found out that the expected date was March 20th.

Called today and found that part still not available. Person was very nice. Could not do anything for me. Had to ask to speak to supervisor instead of it being offered. Supervisor was nice but gave me the reason it could be back-ordered is that their warehouse moved from Texas to Illinois. Not really concerned that they moved. Still no explanation as to why the belt is unavailable. Wanted my model number and serial number to see if they could do something. Asked if the belt is not in stock, what can you do? No real answer just apologies.

Plan on sending the vacuum to Eureka for them to use when belt is in. Will purchase another brand.

Monetary Loss: $169.
